Fluorine rubber O-ring characteristics: high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance and chemical resistance. High temperature resistance is better than silicone rubber, excellent chemical resistance, resistance to the most oil and solvents (expect ketones and esters), good weatherability and ozone resistance; cold resistance is relatively bad, the general temperature range is -20~ 250, special formula can withstand low temperature to -40.

 

Perfluoroethylene (FFKM, FFPM)

The general application temperature is sustainable for 260°C to 290°C and it can be intermittently used for 316°C.

FFKM O-ring is mainly used in the semiconductor industry, and its chemical resistance is close to PTFE, so it can resist almost chemical liquids and gases, such as: organic acids, inorganic acids, alkaloids, ketones, esters and alcohols. In addition to excellent chemical resistance the same with Teflon products, FFKM O-ring also has the rubber elasticity, excellent heat resistance and cleanliness. According to the temperature for long-term use, it can be divided into: long-term 250, long-term 280, long-term 300, and long-term 320.

The FFKM O-ring is characterized by almost no impact on all fluids, including fats, aromatics, esters, ethers, ketones, oils, lubricants and the most acids. Some halides and strong oxidizing acids can cause the effect of material swelling. The general application temperature is sustainable for 260°C to 290°C and it can be intermittently used for 316°C. FFKM O-ring has excellent resistance to ozone, weather and flame, anti-radiation is good, and it also can be used for high vacuum materials.
