Chloroprene Rubber (CR/Neoprene)
Hardness Range: 40~90 Shore A
Color: Black (standard)
Standard Temperature: -40°C~100°C (-40°F~212°F)
Low Temperature: -50°C (-58°F)
High Temperature: 120°C (248°F)
Chloroprene rubber has good resistance to oxygen, ozone and weather, and also performs well in contact with oils and many chemicals, outstanding mechanical properties and good resistance to fire.
Not good electrical insulation, not easy to process and keep, and not compatible with aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, polar solvents (ketones, esters, ethers, acetones).
Mainly used for cable sheath and various protective covers, tube, tape fireproof rubber products in underground mining, and molded products, seals, washers, binders, etc.
